If you have his IP your almost there. Open Router menu and look for a page which allows IP blocking. Enter his IP address via this menu - save and that should block him. Without knowing your router model I can only guess it has this menu ( most modern routers/modems do ).

As long as you have set his Fline to 0 0 0 { 0:0:0 } he will in the end give up, however some peers are a pain in the ass and try for months!!!!

Don't forget the "thanks" button.

The simple way is to add this line to your cccam file:

iptables -A INPUT -s 00.000.00.000 -j DROP

The 00.000.00.000 being his IP address. This should stop that IP from access your server.

Better still is to access your router menu and ban the IP address from within the menu ( not all routers can do this )

At the end of the day it's down to trust....... as many are using as you put it: "widely recognised" card in 2.1.3 you decide who you want to share with and whom you trust. 90% of those in this hobby are good guy's the other 10% are shits.....

Do your homework and your server and your card will be safe.

Is your audio / video sync 100%? Mines always a bit out....not that annoying but I'd prefer it was perfect!

Just checked audio and it's out a very very small amount ( you have to look hard to see it - on iPad )

There is plans for HD, but you would need a very good lan to get that working 100%. I have had the app working whilst on a hotel here and there back to my VU+ at home and it's works about 90% of the time.

If it is an O2 iphone you can take it to shop ( main store not corner shop ) and they should be able to unlock it for you.

If you ask them nicely they might even fully unlock it!!!

ddaddy, I have no reason to disbelieve this person and have all day "surfed" the fourms and it would appear that there is some truth in it.

Many have received the "so-called" letter/email.

Perhaps as Ten Below stated "we have seen simillar to this with every version of cccam" and this will blow over, however I will not take the chance so changed to 2.1.4 until it "blows" over.

I'm not "scaremongering" - Just putting the details ( notice I did not state facts ) for others to read and make their mind up.

The next version is perfectly stable and also stops people using the well known 256 trick.
