Debian installation help

Go into the pcs bios settings and make sure it is set to boot from cd and not HDD.

it does autoplay, but comes up with 2/3 program one that shows files and others are picture programs ie photos, so i choose to open folder and it comes up with loads of files ie dist, install that has nothing in , 400 odd files all together, also tying to download 64 but version also ???

Turn the pc off with the disk in and turn it on again.
If you have it set to boot from pc it will boot into debian setup mode like in the guide.
Sounds like you are trying to run it from within windows.

you must think i`m a right so and so, lol......

got into bios could not see nothing about HDD or boot from cd

Once again can`t apologise enough, not working will try again tomorrow late afternoon, feel like pulling my hair out.....................

Tried once again yesterday and have now found that my cd/dvd player on pc tower is faulty so going to town later to buy new one and replace, hope it`s worth all this to get debian server up and running lol.

got debian disc going after i found it on well known torr***** site now stuck at stage for ( configure network ), PLease advise ????

do i need to pay for this then ??

have you tried the link it says 1.99$ a month can you run through what i need to do ??
