have one of these little boxes for the bedroom and was wondering how good these usb dongle and also the dongles with antennas really are? i know theyre cheap and wirelss and i had a vonet wifi adapter so i dont expect them to be much worse than them pieces of shit. theyre also alot cheaper and tidier than powerline adapters?

i have one at the moment m8,having loads of dropout problems with it, got setup pretty quick but every time i change channels it loses the plot, gonna invest in some wall plugs

maybe next generation is more solid.
the wifi is trouble, and no firm seems to sort this out.
you have to run them with wall plugs i guess.
apart from the wifi its a very nice box for the money.

i agree *** pirate, when connected with cable rather than wifi they are spot on for the price

el piratei have used the wifi dongle that came with it for over a week now and have not noticed any problem. Fingers crossed !!!

im just testing mine now with the ariel that came with the box
no issues so far, all working fine no drop outs as yet
the box is sitting next to the router so im gonna take the box upstairs
and see if any signal issues. -
yes have mine hard wired my mate use home plugs some seem ok with wifi and some play up
