Is there a tut for this , I presume i would need 2 bin files right ? With different names , its just the server,user,config files I'm wondering what to do with them (would I also need 2 of each)
Make new directories for your config files and call them etc1 and etc2 and put your config files there. Copy your oscam file to oscam1 and oscam 2 and start with command like this
/usr/local/bin/oscam1 -b -c /usr/local/etc1/oscam.conf/
and repeat for oscam2. -
All you need is a cline or a card. But you cannot share what youve got with another box on F3 !!

im in need of a little help he iv got a dublin server with OSCAM 1.20-unstable_svn build #8001 installed no problem but im having problems with the card reader side of it !!!
the card reader is OmniKey AG CardMan 3121 as the usb scan reports so its installed or looks to be but when i try setting up my reader in oscam its not passing any data from the card to the clint my own box at this point.
any how can anyone help me out here my msn or teamview as im now 100% lost

Welcome to this forum Rory. However I think you need a lot of help. First go to introductions and you will then feel the welcome and get lots of help. When you need help with oscam its best to post in Oscam Support. This section is for working configs only but I sure a mod will move it anyway. You might also read the sticky about minimal info when posting .

Thanks for confirming server looks in good shape, how could you tell?
don't really have a issue with glitching it's just the reader restarts it's self every 24hrs and I can tell when it does as the picture freezes and then its perfect again???
i did say inexperienced but your server is ''serving'' ecms in very good times(less than 100ms) and has several transactions per second and no 'complaints' except the duplicate one. My server is updated daily during night and restarted which I think is a good idea. I doubt if your server is randomly restarting once in 24 hrs without a script somewhere doing it so perhaps you could look at that. i hope some others will comment
BTW I would not like to publish the names of my peers and certainly not their ip address. I can see most of your client names and at least 1 ip address but you probably already changed them. I am also guessing their ethnic grouping by channels they are watching. That type of info is not needed to help you out which is what I am trying to do -
The server seems to be in excellent shape . Gltching is probably due to something else. Retune the dish ? perhaps info sensitive on file ???

Without looking at configs it will be difficult to pinpoint. It appears your users are not allowed access. Are they disabled in their user account or is failban doing it ? what settings for duplicates and anticascading ? and list goes on. its a updated original software for a satellite reciever named xxxbox f3 hd,the file as been updated via chanell tp prog by me .and its from china ,buddy hope this answers your enthuastic questions,regards and have a nice day.

I must have given wrong impression and reason for my question is that although I did download it I have not used it Reason is that Chinese site is not reporting a newer version than the Nov version from Alibaba on this ste. Also it is exactly same size but with a different name. please tell us what is newer and better in this Firmware. -
i dont have that card so not a wise person but the config I have seeen has
ecmwhitelist = 0603@000000:34
in reader
Also the camkey data has different no of zeros/saces. No Idea whether that is of sinificance but ecmwhitelist may be and you should look in wiki for latest onejustone more question for the more experienced.. does omnikey support i***** cards ??

hi these are good boxes, but loads of troubles around with wifi issues
maybe next generation is more solid.
the wifi is trouble, and no firm seems to sort this out.
you have to run them with wall plugs i guess.
apart from the wifi its a very nice box for the money.

Yeah mate rs232 serial cable..... It's the only way since the box will not respond any other way..... ;-)

i am beginning to like it. Its relatively simple to set up and quality is excelent and investment is so little. It may ruin this hobby though as I see on adds sites several pay-servers are offering box an subscription for as little as 100€ per year. I'm sure sly will love them !!!! -

Me too. New box , worked fine for first day. Switch on next day and goes to l100 on display but nothing else. How do I update firmware without menu.
