Save the script as whatever.sh to 'where you save the file' and put this line in crontab(nano /etc/crontab)
*/5 * * * * /where you save file/whatever.sh -
I have been using Oscam on its own for awhile and I want to try Oscam/Cccam. I have a server with omnikey and 3 boxes(dreanboxes) on internal network and obviously I will use oscam to read my card. Im trying to get my head round where everything goes
1 Do I use oscam reader for each of my peer's Cline( I see this in a lot of posted configs) or put their Cline in CCcam.cfg in usual way
2 do i put peers Fline in CCcam.cfg
3 Is there a way of using a share that doesn't have a re-share in this setup and share it in my 3 internal boxes. I am assuming that if a peer gives me a share the intention was that I could use myself but not re-share it to others
Advice appreciated !! -
i started from scratch again, can gwet access to the webif pages, have set dyndns in the router.
when ever i try to use the dyndns in the address bar it says cannot connect to server?? and when i type in the srtandard 192.168.0.3 (within my home network) i get this, It works!
This is the default web page for this server.The web server software is running but no content has been added, yet.
really confused, is i have opened ports etc on my router. even tried dmz to allow eveything through (just to test outside connection) nothing seems to work for me?
*EDIT* can connect fine when i open all ports on router and drop firewall. i must be doing something wrong in the port forwarding part, just cant get my head round it.
When you want access your webif page with browser put ip of your server followed by port number you set in config as ;
192.168.x.y:8888
your dyndns host name is only used by others to gain acess to your server and has no(?) uses within your network -
So how will the second oscam know to look in a different location for its configs?
You will have to start it with -c flag pointing it to where the configs are, like this:
/usr/local/bin/oscam1 -b -c /usr/local/etc
/usr/local/bin/oscam2 -b -c /usr/local/etc/configs2 -
Well spotted ....I have to know how the car works before I drive it(even take it apart first). its a long standing problem.
But the "hovering" is brilliant. i must have done that 1000 times but never for long enough. thanks -

Spot on ! providing you get the init correct and ports are different in the configs

i have been using Oscam for 7-8 months now and its very hit/miss. So many great and versatile features and so much to change. Loads of info but I dont know what it means and a lot of the wiki seems like google english and could mean anything when you dont know what your doing.I do think the hyperlinks are good but again something lost in translation. Apart from this site which is best Ive found is there anywhere a roadmap for webif eg. under user section what do headers mean like "idle,ok,nok,ign,tout,cache " etc. i have come to terms with the mechanics of oscam like updating and use readers users etc and incorporating various scripts etc relatively easily with the help of excellent tutorials etc here
if I'm honest I still dont what 90% of info provide in webif means and for sure i spend more time looking at it than I do watching TV. If someone can point me in direction of where or how to decipher all of this info I would greatly appreciate. -
I am also having problems with JSC. Card is fine in the dreambox but not working in Oscam (updated daily 7477) this typical of what I get in status

Yes, the config is the same. Your second server is in the same location as the first ?
Well done George you beat me to it while I was writing.
i t worked fine for me (with omnikey) and ECM times were almost identical on my dreambox.
i have since used iptables to redirect port s to one oscam and it works fine too and takes the "faking" out of play -
Go to this post and download Ten Below's file and FTP it as he explains. This forum does the work for you. !!

I have just received my DM800se (single tuner) from China. When I boot it, it loads an image that says "Sunray 4 Powered by CNIGMA (Sim2)". The image has english language which is fine but only has the Asian satellites to search against and I cannot get it to load europe satellites. The networking is setup and hard disk installed - all working fine.
1. Anyone know how I can get it to load/install european satellites (namely Astra 22.8E - Sly)
2. There is alot of talk on here about SSL84B and sim2.10. How do you find out exactly what version of SSL and sim you have?
3. Would it be better to flash a new european image to it. If so, which one? On ealier deambox's I did prefer the Pli imagesThanks in advance,
Madasafish
1 Download catseye's list for E2 and send files to ypur 800SE with dreambooxedit. Thats one way of doing it but first :
3 flash your box wit a patched clone i,,age and pick one that has integrated bootloader ie it's name has 84b as part of name.
2 when you are flashing(switch on while holding the on/off button and wait till you see ip add before you release on/off), on your browser you nhave a choice of firmware upgrade or device information and thats where you get bootloader version
So order is flash the box with your choice of image and use dreamboxedit to upload catseye -
[quote='GeorgeXL','https://linuxsat-support.com/index.php?thread/&postID=63226#post63226']Why not ?
It is your local card, i don't see any immorality in using it in 2 servers, as long as the servers are yours. Many people have more than one server.For the settings,
Your settings are spot-on. I have it working now and seems great. i have tested it on my own internal share and ecm times vary by up to .003s but maybe after a week or so it may change.
I had thought that "faking " was when someone takes a hop 1 share and use the 256 trick to pretend its a local. I cant see the logic in calling it a fake if I have the card in my possession. I find I have more agreement with the oscam ppl that CCcam overemphasise the hop system, for eg I watched the hungarianF1 on a hop4 from my server and dont rem a glitch,
I would love to hear more on the "faking " bit , but my problem solved for now and thanks to all who posted opinions especially GeorgeXL -
Read the card with one oscam, and send N-line to the second oscam server, it will show as local in both servers.
Thanks for your suggestion. I assume that means a newcamd reader in oscamx and a user account in oscamy with oscamy reading the card. With wiki streamboard offline can you suggest a format.
Is it acceptable in cardsharing terms to claim it as local ?

Thanks for your input but "hassle" is only one of reasons I gave. This is one of my hobbies and by far most time consuming so much so that i have no time to watch TV. And anyway with 2 I get experience twice as quick. Cheers. -
I used 2 dreamboxes andd then I 'upgraded to 2 CCcam servers and and now i have 'upgraded' to oscam. Tthey have different DNS host and its just too much hasle writing to the peers(4+8) to change. I feel more secure with 2 if one breaks which they do and i would also like to expand a little when I get it stablised. I also feel(but dont know) that Oscam may be more versatile with use of services, loadbalancing,and API when i learn more !!.Advice appreciated.
