  • First, you need a working file called webtv_usr.xml and copy to the right place Inside your Amiko.

    Method 1:
    Enter through FTP to copy the file receiver webtv_usr.xml in the following path:
    root/plugin/webtv

    Method 2:
    Copy the file Webtv_usr.xml to the root of an usb-stick, go to the WebTV plugin and upload it with Load (using the FILELIST button on your remote).

    There are a few necessities for webtv_usr.xml:
    1. The XML code needs to be correct;
    2. The references to the streams and files need to be correct;
    3. The webtv streams need to allow streaming to your country.

    There are some files called "Manual WebTV" or or "webtv user manual" which are quite confusing. They basically explain how to encrypt the file webtv_usr.xml, which is not a necessity.

    On the website «•»World-Satellite Forum«•» ... lugin.html, I found a more or less working file. It had a small xml problem: the use of two single quotes in stead of a double quote. After removing this, the file would Load. It contains mostly music station from Eastern Europe; just a few do not work (at least in the Netherlands). I have attached the file.

    Files

    Someday everything will all make perfect sence.
    So for now laugh at the confusion,smile through the tears and keep reminding yourself that everything happens for a reason.
