DM 800hd, tried dreamup (but it cannot commubicate to box), when I web flash its ok, strange, anyone any ideas please

null modem cable is infact a rs232 cable, the cable is actually called a rs232 db9 null modem cable. There are about 5 different types of the rs232 its just the way there wired which stipulates which one it is as the cables go to different pins.
