  • I have used the install script for Debian 6 and for the readers I've used the configs from "How to Install Ubuntu Server 10.04 + Oscam + Smargo Reader"

    when I hit lsusb i get:

    when I run "tail -f /var/log/oscam.log" I get:

    I'd be thankful for any help or links that may help me.

  • here is my oscam.conf file:

    [reader]
    label = viasat
    protocol = SmartReader
    detect = CD
    group = 1
    emmcache = 1, 1, 2
    ecmcache = 1
    device = 002:002
    boxid =
    ecmwhitelist = 093E:88,84,AA,A6,68,98
    blockemm-g = 1

    [reader]
    label = canaldigital
    protocol = SmartReader
    detect = CD
    group = 1
    emmcache = 1, 1, 2
    ecmcache = 1
    device = 001:005

    I got another problem, cant figure out how to restart oscam, and every time I reboot the device number keeps changing

    and is Future Technology Devices International, Ltd FT232 USB-Serial (UART) IC the right device? I expected it to say smargo?
