HELP VU+ DUO image flashing problem

    hi all please help me i am stuck.


    box is new out of the box and i am trying to flash an image.


    tried loading via usb but it just boots as normal




    i have formatted my usb as fat32


    i have done that process in 3 different ways


    1 with vuplus folder first then duo folder follows with the 3 files in


    2 with just the duo folder and the 3 files


    3 with just the 3 files directly onto the usb.


    all three dont work


    and i have tried with all the 3 usb slots.


    my usb is showing a blue light when its connected with box.


    everytime when i insert usb into front usb slot and turn on the box . box starts normally. i am not getting any upgrade option

    Hi desizone, a quick hello in Introductions is required..

    There is only one way to flash an image via usb, try like below buddy;


    Download the image of choice, it will come packed in an RAR format, use WINRAR to extract this.


    Right click on the file and "extract here", you will see a vuplus folder, copy this folder to a FAT32 formatted usb memory stick..


    Power off the duo from the switch at the back, place the usb memory stick in the front panel ( make sure no other usb devices are connected to the back ) then switch on the duo again, you will see an indication of the flash procedure on the front LED panel..


    If the flash procedure fails to initialize use a differant USB memory stick, not all memory sticks initialize the flashing process..

    Introductions should be your first post buddy..
    Not sure about duo images but a full UNO image will usually have 4 files inside :
    boot_cfe_auto.jffs2
    kernel_cfe_auto
    root_cfe_auto.jffs2
    splash_cfe_auto
    maybe its the image yuou are trying that is corrupt..
    to compare..¿ why not download and install a duo backup image made by a team member which is guaranteed to be 100% functional...
    Once you get the feel for it ,go make yourself a nice image with all your own personal favourites
