  • Had this box for a while now and came to the conclusion that the tuner is pretty crap. Can anyone recommend an alternative?

    Thanks

  • What are the Issues buddy?

This is one of the Premium boxes.....you got a Clone or Original!

  • That depends on what exactly you want from the receiver and your price range.

If for example your more interested in feed hunting and getting those very hard to tune channels a E2 box is probably not the way to go, look towards the non linux TM range or the Dr HD- F15 or F16.

personally my Vu's have never let me down and get every thing i need, as do my TM Twin and TM 2T.

  • aslo notonly the reciever make good signal , lnb, and cable , and your dish ....ect for exemple verry good cable cost 2 pound meter.....ect but vu is ok

  • I'm happy with my Gigablue. I find the tuner fairly sensitive, and the build quality isn't as bad as some people here may tell you. The only let down with this receiver is that the manufacturer doesn't really want to know if something goes wrong, although if you get the images from a reputable place there shouldn't be any issues with it.

I have no problems getting stuff of Amos 4w and stuff of 7w with my 1m Gilbertini on the Gigablue. Out of all my receivers I get the most channels with lower BER readings off these birds with the Gigablue.
