The Tspanel will be virtually useless to you on a Alien receiver as almost every single plugin there is compiled for the Broadcom CPU.
Something similar may appear in the near future for the SH4 boxes, you never know, I suppose it all depends on if there is a big enough call for such a thing. Plus it also depends on if the developers decide it would be a good thing to do.

I think hes referring to your last comment Phoenix regarding plugins. Some plug ins will work with the Alien boxes just as well as they do with MIPS boxes.
I managed to get some plugins to work with my Alien on a few occasions with out too much difficulty. As much as i now hate Alien boxes i do have to concede and say that your previous comment was a little inaccurate.
