Some weird issues with CCCAM 2.3.0

    All I have 2 local cards, an adult card and *** UK card in my DUO on VIX 3.0 and CCCam 2.3.0.


    For some reason the adult card stops unlocking channels and the UK card is fine. If I restart CCCAM then both cards work fine again.


    To test I got a friend of mine to share his UK card and I removed my card from the box. All went fine initally but eventually that failed too.


    Was OK once I restarted CCCam. The local UK card never fails but the re-shared card I have on test or the local adult card would alway eventually fail.


    ECMs are really low as only 1-2 receivers are (rarely) connected to the box, hence how I hadnt noticed the issue for ages.


    Is CCCAM 2.3.0 reliable ????


    Weird how one card never fails but the test share and adult card fail regularly requiring a softcam manager restart.

    let us know what card you have, and also can you post the CCcam.cfg file (hashing out anything others shouldn't see)


    just need this extra info and you will find that it will be easier for someone to help.

    I installed the 2.3.0 from IPK file. Whats the easiest way to replace it with an older version.
    If I install older version will it over write the newer one.

    It is mostly the conspiracy theorists that don't like CCcam 2.30 but it doesn't hurt to try another one. Backup your CCcam.cfg file, because installing another CCcam version might overwrite this file. Once you have installed another version, it won't overwrite the existing version, but you can choose the one you want in the blue button menu - select softcam manager and then you can disable startup and running of the existing, and enable startup and run the preferred one.

    One other thing am I in the right place to ask cline questions.
    If so I have a TM500 that I use in the garage and I want to set it up for my family when they go to spain on holiday.
    The appartment in spain has sat and broadband but I want to setup my UK card only to work to that box.
    Its current ly set up on the LAN but want to setup properly to work on web.


    This is the cline I have locally
    F: username password 0 0 1 { 0:0:1}


    All I require is to set the TM to receive the UK card I have at the home box with no other hop or none of my other cards accessible.
