IP address-how to.

Hi everyone,I have been trying to FTP to a spider box without success,
I'm not sure if I have the correct ip for the box so my question is how
Do I go about finding it. Thanks in advance.

If it is connected to your network you could go into router settings and check out connected devices?

Thanks for your reply brendanj9554,i have 3 receivers connected and i can FTP to two
of them but when i go into router settings it only shows an iPad as connected device.

use the dreambox control centre. just hit the search button and it will find and name all devices on your network

Is network turned on via 1111?

Yes shamonemf it is, the funny thing is it works when used in the living room
But when I take it out to my workshop it stops and I have the correct IP address
Installed and can't FTP it.
