    Your using openpli with sly skin right? A refashioned will sort it. I did this several times (with same image) each time the same issue occurred after a week or so. Today I will try nebula again. Never once had an issue with that image

    You can indeed run 2 oscams. I run 2 instances (1for my local cards and 1 for my cache 3) have a look in Oscam tutorials. There a thread there that covers how it's done

    hey everybody,
    i am running 2 instances of oscam.


    oscam 1 > cache
    oscam 2 > local cards.


    i havent updated in a while.


    i am currently running r8670. my question is, what is the latest stable Oscam i should go for? its a dedicated server. and above all else i want everything be stable for my peers.
    i am behind the times as i havent updated in so long.


    also is there any major changes in configs (mainly cache3)?

  • MX box. Help? No idea

    Hi guys. One of my friends has asked me to look at his MX box (little black streaming box)
    Never seen one before but he said it's good for streaming etc.


    Anyway. Long story short. He said he tried to update the firmware and made a hash of it. Says the streams don't work.


    I said I will have a look, he knows I love to mess with things. But the thing has got me lost......


    Is there any firmware a that are already complete and set up??


    Or a pointer in the right direction would be appreciated.

    Sorry to jump in, but does anyone know if the latest e2 catseye have the freq or will I have to input manually.
    I haven't updated my channels in a while. Only when a channel I watch changes is when I normally update

    Cheers guys. I have just been reading up on the slingbox and didn't realize there were SD. Nevermind. Not that fussed about VM to be honest. The awful truth of it is solely to get the walking dead a whole 24hrs earlier haha. If I had something set up I could have watched it last night. But tonight when it airs on fox I will be in work (nights this week) sad I know. Would have been better to use my solo. Can't justify paying for a box.....

    Hi guys. I was considering getting a cable tuner for my solo2 but has scrapped that idea.


    I am wondering if the app "slingplayer" or an equivalent is available as a plugin for enigma 2?


    Long story short..... My folks have VM. I have a sling box and want to stream, I will purchase a second box and stream my official sly multi room to them in return. There's also the added bonus of possible shares for US packages etc.


    Obviously I want to keep the cost down, and make use of the box I use the most (solo2)


    Is this possible? Really don't like the look of WDTV etc..... And don't want the hassle of added wires using a second hdmi port etc etc

  • Choosing between vix and blackhole

    I had the same dilemma. Black hole or Vix. It's still hard to make a solid choice. I went with Vix in the end a haven't looked back.


    Flip a coin. The coin won't need to decide....... 99% of the time you will make your own choice while the coin is in the air. Worked for me anyway.

    theres not much difference to be honest bud. There cheap and cheerful. You will soon tire of them. I started with an F3. Used to think it was great. Save your penny's and gets something like a VU+ or similar. It will open a whole new world for you, like iptv and much more in the way of skins/apps etc

  • Solo 2 adding a cable tuner?

    Hi guys,
    I have been looking to add a cable tuner to my solo 2. I have read that you can get USB cable tuners but are unreliable? (Can't source a supplier either)


    Looking at the box itself there doesn't seen to be a slot to add a tuner. So would use be the only way?

    Just do as other members do. Share for a share. If you have a package share for one you haven't got. This hobby isn't about getting stuff for free. I like it because I can view channels on other satellites that would be impossible to fund otherwise. So in theory I pay for 1 subscription, but get to view many more via "shares"

    After speaking to an engineer I know, they are legit. He has seen only a few (all new customers and new installs only) so they are already in the stream. Something to do with chips burning out on cards and these will be the replacement.


    I use an official stb in the bedroom (multi room) I may even request a new card..... (Due to burnout) and see what I get sent. Might even try to get it paired to an older box (would you believe it. The box not only burnt out my card, but it won't come out of standby) however I have an old box here Mr ***man..... Can you make the card work in that to save me waiting for a replacement ;)
