I cant sperak of why your receiver was removed from the sales section other than to speculate that it may have been a clone ??.

I can say however that on my forum and i presume here too, the very same sponsor has no say what so ever in what receivers are put up for sale in the classified sections but out of respect for our sponsorship agreement with him we dont allow clones to be listed. The sponsor has no say in what goes on on any forum but without his contribution many forums would not be able to meat their ever growing costs and thats just a fact of life.

I presume it was deleted because its a clone buddy and clones aren't supported/acknowledged in any shape or form anymore

all clone stuff has been removed, support is only for those that don't mention the word CLONES?? and not really much more else I can say about that or the reasons why so I will let the powers that be explain why!

The rest as they say is history! Comments get liked or thanked by some because of there purpose and relevance , as with everything in life not everyone agrees but that's the way the cookie crumbles they say!

Just to add to this ! why buy a clone anyway as the original boxes are not that dear anymore so no point in my opinion.:thumbsup:

In all honesty and i have always been against clones you can see that by looking over my old posts. Clones in my opinion are a lottery and a false economy, what you save in the initial outlay is far outweighed by repair and shipping costs when things go wrong, and they do go wrong frequently. you also just need to look towards the so called official ferrari forum where they dismiss users problems out of hand and provide absolutely no support when things do go wrong.

personally i'm glad to see the back of clones on this forum and i know that my opinion will ruffle a few feathers not least among certain site staff, but as i said above thats just a fact of life.

All clones are not the same. I have been lucky with mine. Working well for over a year now. Although I wouldn't recommend a clone as a 'main' box.

I see no reason why support for such boxes should be removed.

As to threads being removed that are selling clones. This should be fine as long as it's a member selling an unwanted box. Not a trader/reseller.

do you seriously believe that any of the money you give to the cloners goes back into R and D for new models or developments ?, i could understand if there was a huge price difference but there is not.

any way this is not my forum so i cant say one way or the other what goes on here, but on my forum the sponsor pays to keep the forum going, without him there would likely be no forum never mind a ViX image. donations while appreciated will never cover forum costs so it's down to the users, do they want support for clones or do they want a forum where they can voice their opinions ??.

Richard The Iranian man who owns technomate told me imself that they had there factory copy the VU+ products and trump them with some additional memory thus making the spec look better on paper !

Its a shameful state of affairs !
Its been mentioned here before about VU+ copying dream multimedia and dreams original idea coming from kirch media.

Some do it for money and some do it for inn o va tion to try and improve the status quo ¬

Avoid the ones who do it for money is my only advice -
