Hi was just wondering if anyone else has the same problem as me, I would say about 80% of the times I try to use 1channel on my duo it crashes the box and restarts the box, is this normal?

No probs here using solo or the solo2, I wonder if you are using the usb version?
If so try deleting the 2 usb files in the plugin folder. -
How do I know if its the USB version?
it will say it on the ipk you installed..
you can also go into usr/lib/enigma2/python/Plugins/Extensions/1channel
and if you see usb.py + usb.pyo simply delete them..then exit ,restart box -

Hi smokoe, have you tried mediaportal plugin? It has a far more stable version of 1channel, plus there is loads of other useful ones, depending on your image it should be in plugin feeds!

Get TSMedia or Moviesonline.
Both have 1channel incorporated and are much more stable than the standalone plugin.

I've just came on this and can now see reason for a setup issue i was having last night, plus now tonight the exact same thing has happened on my maxdigital...1channel has froze my box also...only think is that on reboot, the sly uk channels are not coming on !!! v. frustrating

Hey how do I install that version? I'm still having no joy with 1channel, even after deleting the USB files, I have ice films preview which works good but just doesn't have as much content as 1channel, I will try mediaportal also
Unrar & save 1channel(nousb) to desktop
then using DCC
FTP to usr - lib - enigma2 - python - plugins - extensions
send across to receiver then do a hard rebootInspiral

You are likely missing one or more of the files required to run them, put this in telnet & see what the return message is.

you dont ftp it ,,, you open telnet and write it in exactly as how it is in ten belows post :Codeopkg install python-subprocess
then give it a full reboot .
