Which usb reader would you recommend to use with the Pi and would u also recommend a powered USB hub as I am using a 2 amp PSU.
What card reader would you recommend?

omnikeys are fine - they are the cheapest and work well with Oscam. 2A psu is plenty for the two onboard USB ports - if you have no need to expand the amount of ports then you don't need a powered hub. I am using a powered hub on my Raspberry Pi, as this also powers my unit! If you do need more USB ports, then you will need a powered hub.

Thanks for the input, what model omnikey would you recommend ?

i tried one smargo connected directly to the RPI and work's fine. But now i have a triple reader connected directly to the RPI also and is perfect.
