expose s*y box id with oscam ?

    Hi everyone,


    is it possible to view the boxid that oscam is using ?


    I would like to test an openbox s11 but I'm having problems with generating a key known to be valid for my sly box &sub,

    get the box key from your sly box, go into setup and get the serial number, this number needs to be a 10 digit decimal number if it is not a 10 digit number then just add 0's until it is 10.


    this 10 digit number then needs to be converted to HEX, open up a calculator ( in windows, start , Run and then type in calc and press enter) from here select view (top right) and programmer, make sure that the select radio button is on DEC put in your number that you got from your sly box, then select HEX , this is your box key,


    but oscam will auto detect the boxid anyhow

    @ brendan.........yeah tried , that but openbox apparently did'nt like it...(..I used a web base converter not windows calculator)


    @ Master G what a brilliant piece of kit.. WELL DONE : ) ............ even better it created same id as I'd done :) unfortunately openbox has obviously got other probs :(

    hi, with the openbox dont need boxkey just the last firwaire .
