Hi all and nice to meet you!

I am a very newbye about all this concepts and I need of your help about many question :haha:

I have a DM800 hd with Enigma 2 ( I don't know the details of the relase)

My question are: Which is the last release of Enigma 2? (the best release without freeze)

Which is the last release of CCCAM?? (the best release without freeze)

How is possible to install the firmware on DM800? Is there a tutorial on this best forum?

How is possibile to install the CCCAM on the DM800?

Please let me know, if is possible all news about this request.

First we need to know if this receiver is an original or clone and which bootloader, sim it has ( sim 2.01, ferrari ) before we can recommend which image / firmware is needed..

The latest version is 2.3.0, to recommend the best version we would need to know which card you have or if you are only using a Cline..

Use any of the images from this forum here --> Original DM800 Images, Not Suitable For Clones...

There are some differences like skins and plugin compatibility, but mostly they all have the same functionality..

You may also need to update the bootloader before you try to flash this image --> http://linuxsat-support.com/dr…opendreambox-2-0-0-a.html..

Sorry, I have a question my friend!

I have do a factory reset about my dm800! (this yesterday night)

At the moment I can not find the same channels of yesterday! Why? I think that there is an error on the "tuner configuration"...

With the factory reset the tuner that was on the setting is missing!

A factory reset will delete all settings and configurations you have made to the image..

You will need to configure the tuner and rescan satellites or load a channel list..

All this will have to be done again when you flash a new image..

Download a ready made channel list, i recommend Catseye or Vhannibal here --> Enigma2 Channel List..

Use Dreamset to upload the channel list to the dm800..

Press Setup >> Enter Box IP, Username & Password > Change Firmware to Enigma2 VER 4 (Telnet reload) > Press Test Configuration to see if you have a successful connection > Press Save Configuration to store changes > Press Open and load the Enigma2 File (lamedb) > Now press Transfer..

Italia favorites are on both channel lists, but Vhannibal would better for the Italian user.. Catseye is more aimed at the UK user..

After the factory reset, I have nothing more in the settings of the DM800. I have only one satellite. His name is hotbird.

sorry I have another question:

Last night, I downloaded the channels Hannibal (based on my location) and imported the settings into my DM800.

Why, some channels I see them, while others get this message? "Tuning failed"

Importing settings as opposed to doing a scan is different considering that a scan will only show channels you can receive, and downloading a list will almost definitely include channels you cannot receive. It may be the case that your tuner does fail because your satellite is not capable of picking up a particular service. Also bear in mind that if you are trying to watch a pay channel without having the required means to decrypt the channel, then you will also get a blank screen.
