That is not exactly the kind of first post on this site that will have people eager to help & guide you..
When you read the rules above, be sure to pay close attention to rules <11> & <12>:
If everything you intend to achieve is well within the bounds of the site rules, maybe you could explain your setup & goals with your new setup.
If your intentions are genuine & fall reasonably within the hobby category, There are plenty of people here that can help & guide you.

Also if you knew how to install on a ubuntu server you would know it would be the exact same process on a vps as that is exactly the same just hosted elsewhere.......
