ts panel

    hi.. go easy on me im a complete newbie. im reading through these posts and it mind boggling ... I have a question i need your help with... ive been told to install the tspanel plug in.. now how would a newbie go about this.?

    press menu; press plugin; press download plugins (usually green button)
    look thru list of plugins downloaded and u will see ts media (may be in a folder called extensions)
    download it then reboot box.
    should then see ts media either in main menu or plug ins menu (depends on image)

    hi, just had a quick look.. can't find it their.


    Master g.. cool name: im a newbie lol ftp it? what temp folder? lol

    just done some digging.. used filezilla to transfer into tmp file. then used the "code" above in telnet... loads of babble came up on screen... what do i need to do now.?

    FTP means use whichever method you use to communicate with the box,, usually DCC,VUcc,etc..
    then find the /tmp folder ( var/tmp ) then transfer that IPK which master G has provided into the /tmp folder..
    Now you TELNET ( if you are using DCC or VUcc you will see the option on your left side)
    and copy and paste the command

    opkg install -force-overwrite /tmp/enigma2-plugin-extensions-tspanel_7.1_mipsel.ipk


    this will install the ipk and all thats needed after this has finished ,(you should see a warning to reboot stb)
    the box needs a FULL restart..
    Once restarted you will/should haved it in menu and in plugins..

    When Ts panel opens you will see a icon for "addons" select this. You will see a menu open up with a list of server names on it, select Linuxsat.When this opens you will see a list for cams, channel lists, plugins etc etc


    If it's a channel list you are looking for select this menu, in here you will finds lots of lists. Catseye are very good, whatever one you select will download & install onto your box automatically, it will then ask you to restart your box.
