  • Hi,

I downloaded the openvix 3.0 backup by ten below which is great but I then added a different channel list, restarted enigma 2 and the skin had changed to vix black. I changed to eraneox skin and gave another restart, now it looks like this:

    Any ideas? Reinstall the skin?

Also none of the on demand videos have sound, I tried a few on iplayer and 4od. Has anyone else had that problem?

Apologies if any of this sounds stupid but I was hoping to get suggestions before messing around myself as I always tend to make things worse.

  • you need to reduce the number of rows in the skin setup. ( not near a box rite now to verify the exact path ).

I did reduce the rows from 18 to 12 in the skin setup but I wasn't too sure if that was anything relevant, I'll try it again and reduce some more.

  • reduce it to about 8 and see if thats better, as for the audio problem press the audio button and see if digital downmix is on or off.

I was changing the number of rows in each epg option within Setup -> System -> EPG which doesn't seem to be the right thing. I tried digital downmix both off and on, with no change.

  • thanks guys, you were spot on

reducing the rows to 8 worked fine
the digital downmix had to be changed in a/v settings, I had only changed it within the on demand plugin with the menu that appears when you hit the audio button

Great backup, thanks. I really like this skin it's very different to everything else.
