dm500s server disconnects clients in standby

hi guys ive set a dm500s up as a server im only serving two mates the thing is can the dm500s still serve in standby mode as when i turn mine into standby the clients lose channels im running commando 14.7

Your dm500 server will still allow clients to connect in standby, they won`t be able to connect if the server is powered off completely..

Which image, card and cams are you using ? Does this happen every time you use standby ?

Change image to gp and it would work even and in stand by.

That shouldn't be happening buddy, maybe you had a bad flash of the image, i would suggest trying one of the sly ready backup images from here --> DM500 Images

Backup your configs before trying to re flash a new image..

cheers pal ill have a look the funny thing is when i first set it up and put it into standby i did notice the red standby light aswell as the green light but now in standby its jut the red light

Commando is not an enigma image hence why it behaves differently to the others, i found problems using loopthrough to another receiver also where the only way i could get a signal on the second box was putting the commando image onto internet radio then all was ok. You can leave the box on 24/7 without any problems or as already suggested use an enigma image.

ok guys ive sorted it so if anybody else is having the same problem the trick is to keep your finger on the standby button untill u get both red and green light on that way its going into standby but still serving
