Your not gonna beleive this, i just read that a min before i posted, however, i understand now, hop one is suppied by someone else whilst local is your own card, is that right?
-
Yup local is your own card..
Hop1 is the first share from a person who has a card...
And so on!..

Local is your paid subscription that you have in your receiver and will be hop0 when you look in CCcam info.
Hop1 is a local card that someone you share with owns and gives direct access to.
If you receive a c line that has { 0:0:1 } , it will have no reshare no matter how you set your f line for new shares.
If the c line is set as { 0:0:2 } then you will get his local and 1 reshare f his local.
Best option is to set F: user password 2 0 0 { 0:0:2 }
This will give you more stability for receiving and sharing to others. -
Also if its a PC server remove the # from #Minimum Downhops: 1 in CCcam.cfg that way your server will only accept the cards that have reshare! People need to learn about minimum downhops: 1 as alot people advertise there servers as having say 20 or 30 in hop1 and only prob 5 of them are resharable to other people! so in reality your only getting 5 hop2 shares from them!
