    Use putty to log onto you're server as root
    then type in the following:

    Code
    cd /emu/script

    Code
    wget http://tiny.cc/zaUVU

    Code
    chmod 755 compile.sh

    Code
    ./compile.sh

    This will download all the needed files and libraries, compile oscam and move it to /emu/oscam.

    It can happen that the source is protected with a "root" password. If this is the case, just wait 10 minutes and try again

    Thanks to CC_share.

  • yes,

    just follow the guide written by master g . The script will do all the hard work for you . But you must still configure your oscam config files.

  • thanks masterg.... made it very str8 forward for me....

    i am struggling however with adding smart reader (smargo reader) support.... how do i go about adding this functionality in?
    cheers
    muttsa

  • Ten,

    in debian as long as you have compiled for smartreader support with the correct drivers you can use : -

    protocol = smartreader
    device = xxx:xxx ( this format xxx:xxx represents a bus and device id within debian, u can find this out by running lsusb command as root and looking at the output for your smargo )

    The real advantage of running a smargo in smartreader mode is better ecm stability and generally lower ecm times. You should receive 0.070m/s on certain n$s cards.

  • For smart reader
    protocol = mouse
    device = /dev/ttyUSB0

    in the correct configs for the card you are using.

    I have spend the whole night trying to compile Oscam + Smargo support on Debian 6.0.1; all thing going smoothly good..except the last step of compilation
    it keep telling libusb 1.0 not found ... and after 2 hours googling figure out it's common error (Bug) on Debian 6.0.1 release.

    Finally I install Ubuntu 10 and everything going really good from the first shot ... Now my Oscam system is running perfectly with Smargo support.

    Hope it will help.
