    Configs look ok bud, I would try the card in debian again, use the newcamd protocol and mgcamd on both your receivers.

    Thanks Mate for looking through my configs,
    I have moved the card back to the debian, and put mgcam1.38 on my dm800, will see what happens in the next day or so if it processed any EMMs. Fingers crossed.
    I have used the following in mgcamd, do I need to change anything in oscam user to ensure correct AU?

    mgcamd newcamd.list

    Code
    CWS = 192.168.0.9 10007 mgcamd password 01 02 03 04 05 06 07 08 09 10 11 12 13 14 lan newcs

    Oscam User

    Code
    [account]
    user                          = mgcamd
    pwd                           = password
    caid                          = 0960
    monlevel                      = 1
    au                            = SLYUK
    group                         = 1
    ident                         = 0960:000000

    all the best

    Hi all,
    Sorry to ask as there seems to have been a few posts on this previously, but I have probably done someone obviously wrong but can't see the wood for the trees and its driving me mad.
    I was running with cccam and oscam initially and entitlements cleared ok, but I had problems with cccam so thought I would try just using oscam on the dreambox (card in the internal reader), and also connecting to it from debian server as well as my solo client box. Noticed that no EMMS are being registered on the oscam log and my entitlements have not been updated for several weeks.

    OSCam version r10653

    The client status shows

    Update,
    Tried using dcc and running cccam in foreground. Would not clear. BTW that was after running killall -9 on the process at first.
    Waited a few minutes and did the same process again. It then worked. So stopped the process and retried running in background, blank again. On about the third attempt at the above, it started again. Something is not right, but at least there is a work around for now.

    Rich

    Thanks for your reply.
    Cannot see it being the router as its the same issue at two different addresses.
    I have checked the boxes network settings and all is fine, I can download files from the box, it is showing as connected to the server (both in cccam and separately to Oscam. It can see the shares, but it does not seem to ask for a 'Ecm' on a non FTA channel. I have a local and it does not ask for that either.
    I have tried an old working config and a new line created. Still the same issue. The dm800's still are able to processes the cccam and open up on a separate box. It is really bizarre. It was as if all was ok on box B until I sent a config file across. then it had same behaviour as box A, now even after reflash, new config, etc it does not clear. Almost as if the config somehow caused a damage to the box. I know that sounds odd.

    Rich.

    Hi all,
    Wonder if anyone had a similar problem.

    My dad had a power cut and then his dm800 (call it box A) would only open fta. Checked it and all appeared to be right in the setup. Reflash with new image and same problem. Tried new cams and same problem.

    Took my dm800 original box round (Box B) plugged it in and all ok, left it for a week and all ok. Called round and decided to send his config across to my box (Box B, as it had my details in it), then mine would not clear non FTA. Put the old config in and still not clearing. Had tried restoring his bouquets, then even sending a new satellites.xml file across and rescanning.

    Thought something may have affected the tuner, brought box back to mine, tried various images and no joy. Bought a new tuner, installed. Re-flashed with Merlin3, did a factory reset, new config, still only fta although showing in server as connected and on box, both C and N.

    I am at a loss, am I missing something simple, or some hardware issue, really odd that both now have same problem.

    Sorry for the rambling post, but trying to give you as much info as can.

    Hi,
    Been having a mare with my JSC, moved it from VU to server (actually in the VU needed a restart every morning). Thought id sorted after spending yesterday trying to get onmikey to work (no success) so then went to smargo. Thought was ok until this morning, it was showing below, and oscam was not clearing until reboot. Can someoone please check my configs. Also is the other fault listed below usual? Seem to be getting half NOK on user log. In terms of tuts, looked at lots.

    Using a Smargo, 64 bit Debian PC. Connecting with Cccam.

    Hi Delboy,

    The prime looks like it has some useful options.

    (having seen 2 massive dogs cowering under a table, whilst a house had been ransacked/violated for a long while, I would not recommend them as highly as others may do).
    Main issue with wireless alarms used to be interference, however, they are a lot better these days, as long as your not next door to a taxi cab company). Also, ensuring that you get a good signal on the network if using a sim card.

    Rich.

    Seems that there is a possible way to "save the programme for later" but I can´t see any options to "record" apart fropm maybe through vlc or the like in pc...
    Also considering that you are using VOD there isn´t much need to record anything as you can view it as long as its uploaded and the link is alive.

    Thank Caz,
    It was for some cartoons, often stay where there is no internet so was going to save some to the hard drive. Logically, it would seem that if being watched then they are also being downloaded. I tried jdownloder, but could not get it to work. Not a major issue, I don't want to hijack this thread. BTW, your TV proggies update works well.

    Rich.

    Caz,
    on the original thread, you made a post "1channel usb support", I thought that might be a way to 'save' the programme for later. I have a Vu duo with a built in harddrive, (Also got a usb in the back). I cannot see the tmp movie file anywhere? Or is it not for this purpose, as I miss some of what the guy is saying on the utube video ;)
    Rich.

    I don't know about your package, but the lots of IP's, Personally I would change my Dyndns and give out a new one to trusted peers.

    Have you googled your dyndns to see if its available on a free server site?

    Failing the above, If you check your log, are they trying to connect with a certain user name. I would give zero to that user name in F line and allow in.

    Rich.

    For an uglier way,
    I have an original Dm800, I bought a 2 inch fan, put in on a 12v plug in power supply, been working for years, never turn the fan off, not been a problem. It does not look great but its quiet and keeps it cool.

    Rich.

    Oh yes. Although, Mine puts a red line under the word if its wrong as you type.

    Your post looked a little random at first, thought you were talking about a general pc.

    Regards,

    Rich.

    Ok, not been messing with it until now. When have tuner B to equal A. Can turn to a sat and it uses tuner A, then if start a recording it then makes tuner B available.

    Not sure if there is a plugin that can use to alternate tuners? That why I could press tuner B when on the weaker sat?

    Rich

    Hi All,
    Not sure if this is possible.

    I have the above and a 'really long' cable run which goes to my newish 1.5m dish (and have quad LNB).

    I have a length of WF165 which goes directly from the VU Tuner B to one of the connection on the LNB.

    I have a length of WF100 which goes from tuner A to a VBOX positioner in another room, which is closer to the dish. And then the cable comes out of the Vbox and towards the second connection on the lnb.

    (The reason for the positioner being in the other room is that I have a dm800 which goes to the 3rd connection on the lnb and want to be able to move the dish via the vbox remote). The VU moves the dish correctly via the VU remote.

    Anyhow, not sure if this is possible, but what I wanted to do, was move the dish via the wf100 cable, and watch the channel in the first instance by the thicker wf165 cable on tuner B (when watching the weaker sats).

    Hope I have explained myself enough and it makes sense.

    Is this possible?

    Regards,

    Rich
