Static Dish 28.2 East Tuner setup & scanning on DM800HD PVR

Hi

I have a clone dm800 and struggled at start to get a signal at all from satelite..then followed a few setting guides and had 99% signal..so i went to auto scan for channels and its only upto 17% and has no service as of yet and has been on about 15 mins.

Is this normal? i am on 28.2e for sky uk

How long should it take and when should i expect to get any services percentage wise!

Just dont want to wait for scan to finish when i should have had some services by now i would have hoped.

will give it a go now...my scan is 35% done and no channels been found so far do i cancel that and do as you ask?

i have cancelled and done a manual scan

straight away is that correct? and is scanning through other ranges..how long should a normal scan take?

What image will these work on? as my box is on the default gemini i belive and says enigma2 loading in the left corner

Yes my dish i aligned ok as i tested on my sky

checked my signal strength and all is above 95%

added them with dreamboxedit

they are now on the box but i still have nothing from any channels do i now edit the cccam.cfg with my cline

do u think i should change my image?

i have given up for tonite it was doing my nut in lol!

So am going to have another go tomorrow afternoon

I have the pre-installed image on which i belive is gemi 5.1 but on the main screen it says enigma2 loading in the bottom left is this normal? shall i install a new image?
