  • Hi,

I was using the automated script you guys shared at:

    http://linuxsat-support.com/li…-ubuntu-cccam-server.html

I set up a server ages ago but I've forgotten basically everything about it so this script was ideal, the only thing I'm not sure about is the part about rebooting at 3.57. The older server did this too but I can't remember how and why.

Should I have this rebooting? and if so how what exactly do I edit or where do I put a script to do it? I think it was a cron job?

Sorry for being stupid but my memory is awful.

    Thanks.

  • Oops I might be confusing your instructions saying about updating at 3.57 and my old server that rebooted at 3.57

But is this all that is needed for the reboot in crontab at 4am?

    0 4 * * * /sbin/shutdown -r
