Firmware slybox f3s 13/07/2013

Can i apply this update to slybox f5?

Yes this one is exact the same as ***BOX F3/M3/F5 Software(20130327) but with the new name as F3s which is the same as F3 without power button on front and
different led. I have test it noting is changed .

So can you flash the normal slybox F3 with the power button on the front with this firmware?

Also are they any real changes with this firmware the last one I flashed was the January 2013 one which fixed the HD reboot problem?

Is it worth upgrading?

Sorry just to be clear do you mean its the same firmware as the f3s or do you mean its the same firmware I upgraded to which was date Jan 2013

I HAVE TRIED IT ON MY F3 BOX IT WORKS FINE AND NOTHING IS CHENGED ,THEY HAVE CHENGED ONLY ITS NAME FOR THIRE NEW F3S BOX THAT IA ALL.

So I take it that any further Software for the old f3 will be now under the f3s kind of making the older f3 no longer supported in a way..

Most of Chinese thinking and inn***tion look no further attention in terms of technology , they tinking to sell more and more and produice fake item.
And as you know they are master in copying of evrything.
I also hope that the idea of raising the technology and software to produce is still alive and they do some better S/W in the near future.

hi there is no way that you can use this firmware ***openBOX F3S 3601HD 13/07/2013 on an ***
openbox f3 as it comes up with a hardware mismatch i know i try ed it my self

Firstly you need to post an introduction , and read the forum rules as seems you never , now to answer your question the software gave you the answer already (mismatch) there is no real benefit of updating software on these boxes you only stand to mess it up and need to use a null modem to put it right , if you want a box you can do things with and appreciate , try starting with an xp1000 youll get a lot more joy out it well worth the money and full epg +plugins of your own choice , you will be far better pleased

confirmed, this one does not work with F3. it will report "mismatch".

This is just for the F3S 100% not compatible with the older F3, M3 Etc.

And I guess it's the same for the F5 boxes. Latest firmware for F5s does'nt work on a xxxbox F5....?
