XBMCAddons Plugin - for running xbmc addons with enigma2

Hi Friends,

Here is a little plugin for running xbmc addons on enigma2 images. Tested on a dm500hd with the latest official image.

Please test the addons streaming German videos - as I cannot test them much in UK.

The image should have installed the rtmp support software. With some other images - also required python-imaging and python-html.

Install method :-

(1) Install plugin ipk.
(2) Unzip the attached xbmc addons (your choice !) and ftp to folder -

/usr/lib/enigma2/python/Plugins/Extensions/XBMCAddons/XBMC

(3) Use Settings to set your cache folder.

For some rtmp streams - the Download must be selected first.

Please report which addons work - and which have problems. I shall test more addons in future and post them here.

Here are all the files above including dependencies i have repackaged to a single ipk file, working fine on my Solo2 running BH204 but as with all plugins backup before installing.

Because of dependencies use this file on OE2 Images Only

(1) Install software items.
(2) Install plugin XBMCAddons ipk.
(3) Unzip the attached xbmc addons (your choice !) and ftp to folder -

(4) Use Settings to set your cache folder.
(5) When script modules are required - ftp to the XBMC folder (folder with the addons). In addition - ftp all the items in the script module lib folder (except LICENCE) to :-

Here is a little plugin for running xbmc addons on enigma2 images. Tested on the et9500 with the latest xtrend-alliance image.

New version XBMCAddons v.3.0 attached.

Now addons, script-modules and software can be installed on-line.

VU+Plugin XBMCAddons - for running xbmc addons with enigma2 OE 1.6!

From the attached please ftp :-

plugin.py -> plugin folder /XBMCAddons
xbmcaddon.py -> /usr/lib/enigma2/python

and install the ipks.

Many addons will work. If something does not work telnet :-

init 4
killall -9 enigma2
enigma2>/tmp/e.log 2>&1 &

then run the plugin. Look at the end of /tmp/e.log if any item is missing. Try to find it and install.

Attached is a special version of plugin XBMCAddons to offer you our greetings for the Festive Season !

It should work with the Openpli 4 and DM oe 2.0 official images. Other images may need some software which is available from server. Atdee.Net uses rtmp streams - so rtmp support will be needed.

Included in the plugin new versions of Movies25, Icefilms.

This plugin does not require XBMCAddons. But if XBMCAddons is is already installed - install the ipk with option --force-overwrite.

Obviously not all stream sources work - so find the ones that work.
