Help with hdd

hey guys.been a while since iv been on here.im having trouble with a seagate 1tb hdd.brand new,never has a file been transfered onto it.problem is when i got it i decided to format to fat32 for use on ps3.i tried using some shit programme i downloaded which ended up crashing my computer,now i cant see the hdd on computer.i can find it under device manager but i can only access its properties,,,somebody advised me to try change its "initial" in disk management .but it dosent show in the list of hds there.i can see it under the partitions section and it says its partitions are good and disk working perfectly..also iv tried pluggin into my vu duo and use format wizard but that wont work either..if anybody has any advice it would be greatly appreciated...thanks miltown man
