Hi,
I am newbie and don't know much about flashing, but I tried and I think my Box is bricked.
I think My Dreambox may be clone version, it was working fine for over a year.
But on google search there was link of popular image for this box, so without thinking I experimented this using dreambox control centre over internet connection. when my box restarted it showed one affrican charity image and then went black, (Nothing on screen). every time I restart box it does this. I bought null modem serial cable to flash using Dreamup, but box is not connecting to computer using this serial cable. Dreambox control centre not working any more as well.
Please advise any suggestion, I am considering ordering usb Serial cable to try to flash using my Windows 8 laptop, not sure if this will work or not.
What someone can suggest to bring my dreambox back to life.
2nd thing which Image can be recomended for this box, taking into account Mgcamd.
