updating a dreambox at a different address

Hello I need a little info on updating a dreambox at a different address

its my dads dreambox, he is getting on a bit and don't really no what hes doing.

He lives almost 150 miles away, he needs his oscam server and his channel list updated

What would be the best and easiest way to do this.

I have been thinking of trying to make like a secret-feed.conf and getting a website for it

for the files to be uploaded.

or is there an easier way, could I just do it by using an ftp program if I know the IPs

You can experiment with TeamViewer.

I do box upgrades in Europe, Asia, etc., with TeamViewer.

Most of us have used teamviewer to communicate with other apparatus, just as Melgas suggests.

May I make a suggestion. why not give your dad a pleasant surprise and visit him, especially this time of the year..

That way you kill two birds with the same stone :)
