  • hi lads did anyone try this installation of ubuntu 13.04
    used thatfellow's tut as far as cc/oscam install

    never bothered doing any onmi setup eg.. opensc-tool -l
    using 2 readers and both seem to work all the time
    and never get confused.
    must have done 40-50 reboots perfect every time
    it banging for over a week now no probs
    hope this is the end of the B/S

    Thats good news annie12..
    I could never figure out this problem as my x64 ubuntu never had the issue..
    (Must not have done the onmi setup myself at the start)
    But I did reproduce the problem on VMware..
    I will test this & update the tut for x64 ubuntu's..

    Cheers..

  • hi meekat the reason for this post is that on ubuntu 64bit myself and a lot
    of the guys here had trouble (hopefully its gone) when using 2 omnikeys
    they would be changing there id on some random boots
    I dont care if you want to use debian, and if your were following
    the posts in the past you would be aware some of us had some problems,
    but you dont seem to here that long, so the post might not mean much to you.. LOL

    PS i forgot on the 1st post that it was only for the 64bit
    but anyone with the hassle would have copped on...

  • Just over a week later several reboots the omnikeys never acted up
    They are woking 100% lol
    also ATT- Thatfellow

  • HI MUSO
    dont do the omni eg..# this, add this and so on
    the drivers during the install must be more compatible
    on 64bit amd server edition 13.04
    once again i always use thatfellows cc/oscam install and then change the oscam..
    Best of luck let me know how you or anyone else that has this problem gets on...

  • Hello
    I use debian 7 on the terminal with oscam r8933.
    One of the readers is Omnikey 3121 witth Bis card.
    The problem is :AU not work. Enabled on reader and users.
    [reader]
    label = Omnikey_Bis
    protocol = pcsc
    device = 0
    detect = cd
    ident = 0500:042820
    group = 5

    What timing can be set for the reader?
    I have :
    mhz = 357
    cardmhz = 357

    Please advice.

    regards

  • Is the Argolis triple reader any good, I tried with 'thatfellow' CCcam/Oscam not able to detect cardreader, but with Quadmouse/smartgo was ok. Can somebody help on my triple reader (supposed 2b smartgo compatible), thanks in sdvance.

  • @ niko91
    omnikey will find the fastest clock speed
    what ever you change it to your ecm times will remain the same
    check your not blocking emm's
    your really need to post your full configs for client and server with help with card updating
    or check dvbapi setting are correct on client receiver if using oscam to update card and your user on server is set to update the reader name
    are you getting any emm's hitting the card?
