Just have quick question, I have been on Azbox for a while using OE - Openatv image and decided to upgrade to Gigablue ue combo. So I wanted to know if bootloader update is required on a new box before installing any image. From my reading here it seems images are installed only via USB as opposed to using Azup tool.

You are correct in amusing that the images are installed by USB on the Gigablue range. Other than on the Gigablue Solo, installing an image should take no longer than 5 minutes on the Gigablue boxes.

Nano, am expecting the box and wanted to gear up before arrival. I thought the boxes come with original firmware?
You can ask your supplier to flash the image of your choice if you want, but it's good practice to start flashing it your self.
