putty

    Hi Guys
    I lost my pw for my vu. i am trying to use putty to access it. however everywhere i look tells me to add old pw, which i havent got. is there anyway to overide this and input my new one pls

    Have you got Ts panel installed on your Vu???


    From memory you can use this to reset your password. TSPanel/System Tools/Password Reset

    Not sure if this is your problem but if you connect via SSL to a box with a blank password you will fail to connect, in which case use telnet 1st to set a password, then SSL will be fine after
