Hi

You didn`t say what image you are using, but if it`s blackhole try this..
Blue Button X2 > BlackHole Cron Manager > Red Button/Add.
Or try the attached check script..
thanks for that.. BUt I have oscam server in pc. I think I need to restart oscam every day at a certain time to keep it running well and for it to check if its running etc. At moment I do it manually. Shutdown and restart. But I think I can make it do it automatically. But dont know how :(
Change the line that is highlighted if your oscam binary is found in a different directory..
#!/bin/sh
process=`ps auxwww | grep oscam | grep -v grep | awk '{print $1}'`
if [ -z '$process' ]; then
echo "Couldn't find Oscam running. Restarting server-binary" >> /var/cccamlog/oscam.check
echo && date >>/var/cccamlog/oscam.check
/usr/local/bin/oscam >> /var/cccamlog/Oscam.log &
else echo "Oscam is still OK!" >> /var/cccamlog/oscam.check
fi
FTP the attached oscam check script to /var/script/ give permissions 755..
Edit the crontab file in /etc/ to check oscam every 5 minutes.
I want to check if my ubuntu server has a check in place to restart oscam every 5 mins or so. The above shell script is present in the var/script location ok, however I am confused as I don't have a single crontab file. I have hourly, daily, weekly and monthly crontab folders. In the hourly folder there is an empty file called .placeholder.
Any help appreciated.
A simple explanation of the times in the CRON configuration can be found here:
... and there is also the option to test / configure your own configurations.
If you want to run the script every 5 minutes, use this:
https://crontab.guru/#*/5_*_*_*_*
If every 1 minute, there will be stars everywhere, because CRON detects time every minute and not every second:
https://crontab.guru/#*_*_*_*_*
//// EDIT:
As for the location of the CRON configuration file for Ubuntu Linux, all you have to do is use the Google search engine:
MasterG will the ipk work for openPli? I need the same type of oscam monitoring for openPli.
Thank you :)
MasterG will the ipk work for openPli?
No, the structure is for Black Hole Cron Manager.
I don`t have OpenPLi loaded to adjust the script for you
