What cable do I need to buy to communicate between my laptop and STB

Hello all, I want to put my c-line into my vu+solo2. What cable do I need to buy to communicate between my laptop and STB?

You don`t need a direct cable from laptop to solo2, connect solo2 to the router then communicate over the network with an FTP tool like DCC-E2 or Filezilla..

Or if you want PC-----STB buy a crossover ethernet cable, if your PC doesn't have DHCP you have to put manualy both ip's so they can comunicate.
