CCcaminfophp shows the ip address of all clients and the dns server that its paired up with. An odd thing started happening a few days ago where one of my clients was showing as connected (under the dns server name) but my warnings.txt log kept showing his ip address as trying unsuccessful logins every hour. Why would this happen?
Client's IP and DNS name behaving as if seperate

If it showing him connected but trying to connect again from a different ip, then he's got your line running on another box somewhere else.
-
The wierd thing is that its from the same ip address as the one cccaminfophp is showing as connected.

hmm i get the same, its the same client, every hour i get 3 failed logins, the ip matches his dyndns, hes the only one this happens with

Either he has more than one box and has entered your line in both or possibly has been hacked.
Best thing you can do is contact him and ask, it could be he is unaware of this problem. -
I misunderstood you.
If you getting failed login attemps from an IP thats logged in, then the guy might have put the line on 2 boxes in his house.
CCcam will only allow 1 login per line. -
Check your peer has not got a duplicated entry in his .cfg also
thx
