I have just downloaded the Nabilo Image V08 Maxvar, where will I find the XML file in DCC I want to do my own sat list
Where is DM500 xml FILE ?

You will find it in folder /var/etc
If its not there, create one and put it there from HERE.no it's not there so I will manually do one

Ok they have now gone over to the box but I can't see them in mulisat scan how do I import them?

which image are you using as i noticed before for instance that pli jade doesnt have a xml file in var/etc . It seems built into the image some how.

I have found, from another forum, that this image has a satellites.xml file stored as part of the image as well as the satellites.xml file stored in /var/etc/.
The result seems to be that if you change the strored positions of any sats, they do not appear in the Automatic Transponder Search list.
I believe the image has to be changed before Satellites can be searched corrrectly.
maybe not possible according to other forum

The image your trying to use is about 3 years old . why not try a later image from nabilo such as
Nabilosat_Darkstar_ll_Skin_original_CCcam2.2.1_Fixed-web-xtv
just google it .
