VU SOLO stuck on stanby

Hello i brought 2 solos from the sponsers of the site so i no they are original mine and my dads have been fine but my dads has all of a sudden stuck on stanby.
ive changed remote batterys ive pull out the plug and put it back in which normally results in a vu solo box coming on with grrenn light but his just stays on the red light.
Has anyone come across this before and is there a solution his box is only 4 months old and is not used that much compeared to mine.

Thanks for replys i will try flashing the box again and see what happens.

Have tried to re flash image but nothing just the solid red light think i might have to get in touch with the the sponsor(glad i did not get cheap clone from china)

Have been in touch with the sponsor of this site left box with him,he has rung today to tell me its on its way back.
It pays to have an original box and the bloke who runs the company seems a decent bloke to deal with.
If you are thinking of buying anything satellite related use him well worth it.
