Hi, hope i'm in the correct area for my first post? i believe i need an ipk file on my solo2 for cccam, can someone guide me to were they are? thanks. forgot to mention i have vix image.

yes ,you can try installing the addon via USB..
¿which one of the two???If you have got a recent up to date vix image then THIS ONE for OE 2.0/3.0 images..
It explains to you which you have to use depending on which version image you use :Code
Display MoreInstallation Available for both OE 1.6 & OE 2.0/3.0 images For OE 2.0/3.0 based images Choose the file ending mips32el.ipk, ftp the file to /tmp then install manually from your images addon manager. Not having much luck with that file, when i try to open it adobe reader says could not open, not a supported file type.

you dont need to open it .. you simply stick it on the usb stick ,insert the stick and the image should read it...
If you do really want to see how the file is composed ,then use 7zip to unmount it/strip it.... -
Tried a few usb sticks but the box just boots up and doesn't find the file, any idea why?

Start LinuxsatSupportAddons > { Cams - OpenViX } > Press OK on the version of CCcam you want to use > Restart your receiver.
Press Blue button > Softcam/ci > Start CCcam & Enable at startup..
