Hi Guys can anyone recommend an external HDD drive that works with the 500HD

any e sata HDD with own external power source,, after reading somewhere seems that WD are not so compatible with dm500HD..
although I did see this one: Iomega Professional Hard Drive 1 TB External hard drive - 3.0 Gbps (eSATA) / 480 Mbps (Hi-Speed USB) and it has been confirmed working..
something i also read is this::::::::::::::remember first of all make sure you place movie folder in media/hdd on your dream
then menu/setup/system/harddisk/initialize and wait until its done

Yes I have read the same but cant find a e sata enclosure they all seem to be usb 2.0 even the iomega drive seems to be usb 2.

looked at these: http://go.iomega.com/en/info/iomega-news40/?partner=4735??? just pick up an ?5 caddy from eb@y and put a 120g HDD from a laptop or old pc in it.
If you have an old hdd you can utilise it.
another thing mentioned in other posts is be aware of image you use with it apparently..

Yes I was wondering about the image Ill just have to try it and see if I can get it working I will put a write up here when and if I manage to get it sorted unless someone beats me to it.
