How to install Softcam Oscam & MGcamd for BlackHole Prismcube

Found out of it.
To manualy install the Softcams you need to loggin to FTP with port 2121 to see the folder struckture, then just add the files above to the TMP folder and manualy install from BH. -

will this work with the blackhole image and do we add via bh addons or the xbmc settings addon ?

thanks judThe files in emulator pack for images are only for Vu+ duo, solo etc.. Use plugin.program.softcam in post #1 for prismcube..

ok thanks ive actually downloaded and installed the oscam-120r8943_prismcube _bhp.tgz and installed via bh addons and in blue panel selected it as default but I need now to learn
how to edit line via ftp , eg which folder then which line do I edit ?
or where is the line that I need to edit

Place your oscam configs into /mnt/hdd0/program/tuxbox/config/ or edit the files that are already there.

cheers master g , ive been there edited oscam server as a 1 line
this works fine in my s-ybox f3
but cant get it to work in my prismcube any others ideas would be really appreciated
ive been to the blue panel and restarted but nowts clearing on such as hotbird
ive also put an N line in newcamd and that works fine its just my c line -

What does the oscam log or web interface show is happening ?

ok core ftp lite / connect / mnt/hddo/program/tuxbox/config/ double click oscam.server edit in notepad
C: xxxxxxx.xxxxxx.xx 11000 Axxxxxxx xxxxxxxx
save overwrite and close ftp then restart cam

Oscam won`t recognize it in this format.. Use this tool to convert your c line to oscam here --> Cccam to Oscam Converter..

I only converted oscam.server then copied an pasted is that all I need to do ?

without going into too much detail whats the use of oscam user will I need it in the future.The oscam converter tool will create an oscam.server file, you can ftp this file or copy and paste the info into the oscam.server file that is already present in /mnt/hdd0/program/tuxbox/config/
If and when you get your own card you will need to configure oscam.user to allow users a connection to your server.. A new [account] is created for each user.

How about Mgcamd, I tested it but It work a few seconds and after it stop. Is it normal? anyone tested it?

MGcam works fine here, see the config files maybe you have donne something wrong

Hi have a problem with the oscam. I have a cline from a friend, i converted it with the cline to oscam converter to oscam.server. Replaced the file on Prismcube, but my Prismc is still dark. what iam making wrong?
PS: I swicht the cam on the box allready to oscam and restartet gui.

Have a look at oscam webinfo or oscam log to see what errors there are..
