amiko alien 2 wont boot just shows 00.00

silly question but did you upload enigma 2 image before you changed...also can you change back to spark...

Hi, would this be the same for an Amiko 8900, boots up to 00.00, won't boot up to spark or enigma even after holding down the OK button on the fron panel. Also, i think it's a clone as it has the flap across the front but the originals dont & i have both & they look different.

Sounds like either of two things

1. It did not flash the E2 Upgrade correctly
1. It's a bad image and it's just bootlooping

If using the e2upgrade plugin within Spark to install the E2 Image, it should take about 40 seconds or more to complete. If it's done in 10 seconds, it hasn't worked.

i had this problem on my amiko 8900 shd about a year ago ...i just flashed (spark rescue image) with null modem cable.....flashed HDMU image on enigma side via usb and it works perfect since

Sometimes it just needs a second Flash

What loader did you use, or image? couldn't find any .abs image...

This happened to me just make sure your files are on your usb like this <a href="http://imgur.com/pgPJCjc"><img src="http://i.imgur.com/pgPJCjc.jpg" title="Hosted by imgur.com" /></a> ignoring the two crash files lol some images work and some dont its about finding the right ones about learning :-)

sWeRvEr no boot m8 :( just time 00:00 00:01 and so on.... it only happened when i flash HDMU img 26-03-14 it was working fine until then, i am not the only one with this problem For what they are saying on there site they had the file in the img and it cause the probem with the spark7162 FW.

Your boxes are clones.
You've been hit by the update spark done which has removed the boot loader from the box.

It can be repaired as I have done them in the past. To stop happening in future make sure you disconnect from the net whrn using spark. NEVER use a clone box in spark online.

I have 5 clones running and they are all running e2 .

hi lad reading this tread I had the same problem tried everything .
but this worked
turn on the box wait for about 10 min
switch it of again from behind
hold the standby/on and menu button
switch of the box from behind .
box booted everything working
