  • IPTV V's Linux based boxes

    hello linux-sat people,


    Im thinking about selling my amiko alien 2 and getting a IPTV box would it be worth it, a couple of things i was bothered about is dual tuners i like to record stuff while im watching football or on late at night.


    what happens if when you move you dont have internet straight away do some have a DVB connection or even *** ?



    some iptv boxes are 300+ out of my price range TBH so i was looking at some at £150 - 200 would i be downgrading from an amiko to something not as good ok the amiko isnt the best box out there but at the mo its one i love but if i can do better out of selling it and getting IPTV then i might this is a totally different territory to me, sorry for all the questions.


    ps Sorry if i posted this in wrong section i couldnt find a section in IPTV part of the forum.

  • More than one cline in oscam.server ?

    is it has simple as pasting all the lines as you do in the converter then creating the oscam file the box would recognise it as two diff lines and keep switching between the ones that are better at the time ?

    if i was to upgrade this via usb on amiko alien 2 what do i need to do, when i put the rootfs on usb and go in spark to upgrade it says failed cannot find app file ?

    i keep getting this error with a block error hd could be on itts way out. not sure if i can ttelnet commands to check disk never done it before


    any ideas ?


    aalso the box does recognise it but the pc wont is this because ext32 is linux based

  • help with proxy php and movies 25 etc

    i uploaded a script that said in a guide it redirect my proxy to movies 25 but after uploading it goes to primewire still how can i edit a proxy script to redirect to various sites in the tsmedia 5.6 version ?


    also when i edit the proxy links file in etc tsmedia can all the lines go in the same proxy list as my other 1 eg


    channel1$channel1$andy.nokly.com
    putlocker$putlocker$andy1.nokly.com
    demonoid$demonoid$andy2.nokly.com


    also what are all the sites that i can modify with these kind of proxies as i believe that some cant handle the proxy editing ?

    I started of with a sly box f3 (about £50) these are ok but you do need to keep an eye on adding sly channels when things change a good place to keep getting upto date channel lists is on ajsat.co.uk.


    Then i got a Blade 7000 (£120) these are ok, but not open source plus you can just press a button and update the channel lists (even tho the blade servers are very slow at updating) so i used to go to ajsat see what the new channels were and do a blind scan and update the channels my self, this also has 7 day epg but its not that good also the slybox f5's only have a now and next guide but if your on on a low budget its nowt a 50p tv mag cant sort.


    Now ive got an amiko alien (£160) running hpt hyperion its the dogz bollocks and does everything its self and the tvguide is wicked but this cost me £160 and it can also play all them movies ya usually download through your pc (with abit of customizing of course)


    But you pay for what you get and what i would do if i were you is get a slybox f5 keep it for abit look for cheapest cline (mine was £10 year) then sell that box for £120 and that goes towards your next baby lol and buy the end of it all youl have a decent box haha good luck

    oh and when you get the cline dont worry mate ul get every channel going all in glorious HD :-) then rupert and BT and Virmin media can all go officially f*** themselves

  • VFD just displays "boot"

    i use enigma mate and ive posted this in wrong section its regarding alien 2+ the box only like certain images ive tried loads of hdmu not work and pkt hyperion 4 wont load so at minute im on a backup hyperion by pauldb

  • Amiko Alien and TSmedia 5.3 *help needed*

    I presumed that this new firmware update had all the new links so the plugin was not blocked in uk anymore ?


    I get xbmc add on errors the box asked me to remove as it might conflict with other plugins.


    The box generally crashes when trying to watch tsmedia channels.

  • amiko alien 2 wont boot just shows 00.00

    This happened to me just make sure your files are on your usb like this <a href="http://imgur.com/pgPJCjc"><img src="http://i.imgur.com/pgPJCjc.jpg" title="Hosted by imgur.com" /></a> ignoring the two crash files lol some images work and some dont its about finding the right ones about learning :-)

  • TSmedia Plugin Support

    But when i try and play a movie in the bottom corner it says primewire.ag etc etc and a reminder that some streatms are blocked in uk. Could someone please help me get a work around for this please...lol im gunna end up pulling my my hair out..... *Bleeping thing*
