Hi I new to the site and all this tec with my technomate in the past i had someone who would set it up and it worked great ,now i have a line but all i get is freeze and bad audio sync , i have just downloaded and installed a new patch from here but its made no difference ,can anyone help me ,in easy use terms, thanks

it could be your provider, i usually find that is the case although i have a line with a guy also in a tech 5402 which is poor with the box, he works good with other boxes i have got but not with the tech 5402, overall its a good box especially the editing section which is fast

hi thanks for reply this box has always been great ,only changed with last line , but think i have sorted it this morning ,found a help page on here ,and it said do a factory firmware update then factory restore then add the patch and channels and so far its been spot on , this is all new to me but im learning ,and want to learn more about the lines ,which are better and why c or new ? and how to find good ones myself if thats possible

johnwilliam1 I think you need to look at rule 13 considering your constant use of the term 'provider' in your posts.
