I am trying to run a server with 3 other boxes in my house - currentlly have Automated Oscam/CCcam 2.1.3 Install Package For Ubuntu 11.10, 12.xx & 13.04 x32 running - I think that most things are working but Oscam can see my smartreader but CCam Server is saying its not connected is this normal or should both see the smartreader ?

  • post oscam.user and oscam.server configs as well. You will need an entry in oscam.server for your card, and an entry in oscam.user to link the card to the CCcam server, as well as an nline in your CCcam server. Post the configs as advised and then we can tell you what the nline should be

    If I take a while to respond, you can see why.....

    there is loads of stuff on other threads, and even pre made configs that are better than what you have that will work out the box if you use the search bar and the right sections, but yours probably only needs a couple of tweaks to get working and you might learn more!

    If I take a while to respond, you can see why.....

    In telnet type the command lsusb to find the correct output for the smargo..

    You will get an output something like this;

    Code
    Bus [COLOR='#FF0000']003[/COLOR] Device [COLOR='#FF0000']002[/COLOR]: ID 0403:6001 Future Technology Devices International, Ltd FT232 USB-Serial (UART) IC

    Edit oscam.server file with this;

    Code
    device = [COLOR='#FF0000']003:002[/COLOR]

    Your configs should look like this;

    Access the oscam web interface by using http://server.ip.address:16002 in your browser..

    Code
    [webif]
    httpport = 16002
    httpuser = admin
    httppwd = admin

    • Official Post

    No it`s not ok buddy.. You still have CCcam configured to act as a cardreader (oscam is cardreader & CCcam is server).. Use the configs i posted above.. You should not be able to see entitlements in CCcaminfo.. Disable these lines in CCcam.cfg;

    Code
    #BOXKEY: /dev/sci0
    #SMARTCARD CLOCK FREQUENCY: /dev/sci0 6800000
  • Hi Master G,

    I Have pasted the config you posted and corrected some to my info as you advised
    #BOXKEY: /dev/sci0
    #SMARTCARD CLOCK FREQUENCY: /dev/sci0 6800000

    Both are hashed out in my ccam.cfg already

    • Official Post

    Make sure you have restarted oscam and CCcam after altering any configs, maybe try a reboot..

    Show us the oscam log from webinfo so we can see what errors there are.. Paste the log after restarting oscam and after zapping a few channels..

    Do you have entitlements in oscam ? How To See Your Card Entitlements When Using Oscam

  • looks like i have progress now because I can access both programs through web address now - my fault I didnt realise you dont have to have card reader active in CCam - Right Master G - I do Have entitlements and is this the log your referring to.
