What is the full name of the plugin/.ipk file you are trying to install ?
Can you attach it to the forum so we can check it`s compatible for the image you use..
Whats errors do you get when trying to install ?

The file you attached was compressed as .zip, you should have extracted this file first with winzip or winrar then tried to FTP..
The mipsel.ipk architecture will only install on old OE 1.6 images.. Your image is OE 2.0 so you need mips32el.ipk files that are compatible..
I converted that file to work for your image, try the attached file and report back buddy..

Hello, the file "enigma2-plugin-dw ratsupdater_0.5.0_mipsel.zip" inside must have a file ".ipk", is what you put in the /tmp directory, then you can proceed with the installation.

Don`t try to open the file with windows, FTP the .ipk file to the /tmp/ directory on the receiver > Press Green button > Yellow button > Manually install ipk packages > Press OK on the file to install > Reboot..

Once the file is copied ".Ipk" in the /tmp directory (the file name ".Ipk" must not contain spaces) with the remote control of the receiver press 2 times on the blue button and choose manually install the software.

Please read carefully, Master G has explained to you very clearly.
1) Download the IPK pack in post #4 above.
2) FTP the .ipk file to the /tmp/ directory on the receiver using DCC or Filezilla
3) with your remote control press Green and then Yellow and then you will have to use the 5th option to Manually install Ipk packages. Once that is done, reboot your receiver.Done :69:

Supermario.PS: "press 2 times on the blue button" = Pressing Blue button 2 times takes you to the BH Speedup, Cron Mgr, Osd Settings, Device Manager...etc.

Master g is there an ipk available for latest vix and rats bouquet...got a mates venton hd2 here atm and he wants this image left on it and also an updater like rats bouquets.

Vix images accept the older mispel.ipk so you can tell him to try the one posted at the beginning of this thread.

The .ipk in post #4 should install in any image now that the architecture has been changed.. I havn`t tested though, just tried converting the file OP attached..

Both will install & work on vix, the plugin files inside are in uncompiled py format so will run on either OE.

Thanks guys..i actually have the box here..tried file on post 4...it installed fine and is showing in plugin menu however its saying blah blah connection refused...maybe i will try an uninstall and re-install.

Its possible it never installed the software properly but i installed it as i would normally install any ipk file..i have un-installed the plugin now but i will install again and post the errors.

The plugin looks as if it has installed fine but the server is returning a 404 not found error, either its offline temporarily or the plugin needs updated with the new server address..

That is the old plugin. That web address is no longer valid. I'm uploading the latest one from 29/01/13. Better late than never.
To install on blackhole (in the current form of IPK), please note the following by Johnny Bravo

I personally prefer Lraizer;s plugin as you can automate it and it does the picon symlinks too. You don't even need a network connection.
