Receiver can't find any horizontal polarization channells

    My Amiko alien sh 8900 receiver can't find any horizontal polarization channels when scanned, pre programmed ones won' t display no signal. I have another amiko alien and if I plug the same sat feed into it both horizontal and vertical channels are o.k. Is there a setting I can change I have already tries restoring factort settings Help

    Sorry to be the bearer of bad news but its stuffed mate, the tuner has gone. Mine went exactly the same way after 4 months.


    Best thing to do is send it back if its still under warranty for repair, if not chuck it away and buy a proper Enigma 2 receiver. These receivers are best avoided as to be honest they aren't worth the money, they are really glitchy and by my own experience i would also say the build quality is questionable too.
